ACCESS TO JUSTICE AND DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE

We focus to increase access to justice, promote the protection of forced migrants and host communities, their wellbeing and dignity. We specifically champion access to justice for marginalized groups, core to these are women and girls, youth and people with disabilities. UREA offers free legal aid services to remote and rural communities through legal representation in courts, legal empowerment and information, capacity building for state and non-state actors 

UREA, also promotes democratic governance and enhance civic competence of youth and women to participate in leadership and decision making process for improved service delivery. We adopt the approach of social accountability to facilitate effective engagement between rights holders and duty bearers through use of neighborhood model.
