Governance
UREA is governed by its Executive Board of Directors. The Board is the key policy making and governance body of the organization and works independently. It formulates and approves policies and organizational systems and evaluates the overall performance of UREA on periodic basis. The Executive Board consists of five members (3 Male and 2female) and is headed by its Chairperson. UREA’s Executive Board comprises of development professionals, intellectuals, Educationist, Health professional activists and environmentalist. The Executive Director of UREA serves the board as the ex-officio member and heads the secretariat. The Board works in the guidelines of the Board Policies Manual.
Our Management
Umoja Rescue Agency, Management is headed by Executive Director who is the formal head of the secretariat in the organization. The Executive Director reports to the Chairperson of Executive Board and is responsible for the overall direction and management of the organization. The Executive Director is supported by the Head of Programs and Head of Operations who forms Senior Management Team, and team of Managers and officers of different sections/programs of the organization and they jointly form programme management structure for the organization.
